ABOUT US

I guess we just never grew up.

My brother and I have been fascinated with heavy equipment our entire lives. Although both of us have successful careers as mechanical engineers, the fun of playing in the dirt never wore off as we got older. We always enjoyed working the rental equipment for our contractor friends, but the small jobs with tight or limited-access areas always posed a bit of a challenge. Over time that eventually grew into obtaining a few specialized pieces of equipment of our own to accomplish these peculiar jobs that normal equipment could not do.

Being engineers, we are hard-wired to continually assess each job for improvements in productivity and efficiency, all with a touch of OCD. Yes, OCD is not necessarily a bad thing (and is also inherent of most engineers to a degree)-- it leads us to be extremely meticulous, thoughtful, clean, and organized with everything we do. This has translated into a unique understanding and ability to accomplish the odd jobs that a typical excavation company either cannot get their equipment into or are simply not economically viable for them to do so.

A long-time mentor and great friend of mine once said if you love what you do, you really never work a day in your life. Although my brother and I both really enjoy the challenges offered as engineers, we also very much enjoy working with dirt, as simple as that sounds. Every job we do we have fun with, and that attitude is also reflected in the people that work with us, and often affects our clients in a positive way as well!
